About the collection

This is a small private collection of 19th-century flutes, mainly English simple-system instruments.

I am always looking for new and interesting flutes, and I strive to acquire those that truly attract me.

What draws me in is often the voice (the sound), the wood—its colour or grain—
the workmanship of the keys, or simply whatever I find enjoyable.

Some of my flutes are available for purchase or exchange, in order to help finance new acquisitions and experiences.
